SCROLL
JAN
1997
Following his father Stephen S. Peschel's footsteps, Stanley G. Peschel, recipient of 23 different US and International patents and an innovator in high voltage testing, founds High Voltage, Inc, after selling Hipotronics to Hubbel, Inc. in 1992.
MAY
1998
Stanley Peschel files a patent for "Very low frequency sinusoidal electrical testing method, systems and apparatus", an innovative new method of testing high voltage electrical cables at very low frequencies (0.01 to 0.1 Hz) that provides minimal risk to the integrity of the cable.
JAN
2001
Stanley Peschel receives Patent 6169406 for "Very low frequency sinsusoidal electrical testing method, systems and apparatus", after filing in May 1998. VLF testing would become an industry standard for testing cable systems over the next 20 years, including a specific Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) testing standard (IEEE 400.2) for the "Field Testing of Shielded Power Cable Systems Using Very Low Frequency (VLF).
MAR
2002
Stanely G. Peschel passes away, leaving High Voltage Inc. in the capable hands of his sons Stephen and Michael and his nephew Jim Grayson as well as other former members of the Hipotronics teams that form the core of this 3rd generation family business.
